ACTIONN:  Acting Together in Community in Northern Nevada

We are proud to be a part of ACTIONN. ACTIONN is a grassroots & non-partisan organization that fights for racial and economic justice in Northern Nevada by engaging faith communities and other stakeholders in community organizing, advocacy, and civic engagement.

Now that the election is over we now need to prepare for our Nevada Legislative session beginning in February. This only happens every other year so we must be vigilant. UUFNN ACTIONN is 1 of 25 statewide teams working together for justice.

The New Normal framework is based on a simple idea. to build the New Normal we need to DIVEST from systems, policies, and decisions that are harming our communities. Instead, we need to INVEST in the systems, policies, and decisions that allow for all of our communities to thrive.

All of our work will be done electronically through Zoom, emails, letters, and phone calls.  As we have proven, large numbers of active citizens can make a difference.  It is time to organize our UUFNN ACTIONN Team. We need people to

·          meet regularly to maintain our communication channels.

·          develop their stories of housing, immigration, and policing injustices for our legislative visits.

·         organize digital activation on Social Media.

·          maintain our Rapid Response.

·          hold lobby visits on Zoom
